Forgive my absence for two months on the project (I’m very upset about this.) But, I wanted to share this belated shot on a beautiful September fall day in Flatiron. The light hits the tree beautifully but enhancing its bright green leaves as they hang on for another month or so!
Another month and another picture taken in Madison Square Park, NYC. Time taken – approximately 10:00 AM.
In only a short month’s time, you can already see the green leaves starting to grow back on the bare branches that winter provided. Now that spring has officially arrived, these trees are itching for some leaves and bright colors!
My 2012 photo project continues..
[This picture was taken February 28 around 1:15PM from the opposite angle of the January photo.]
My immediate reaction was that you can already see more branches growing on the barren trees in such a short amount of time! It could also be an effect of the abnormal mild winter NYC has seen. Since October, there has been one or two snow days only. In addition, I can assume the average temperature has been in the 30s/40s (as compared to 10s/20s during this time of year.)
I find it to be such an amazing and beautiful thing to see the evolution of nature and how quickly it can change..
